We recently added Dan, an experienced upholster, to our team at Rocky Mountain Upholstery. He has been in the upholstery trade for 37 years. He started in Texas, and eventually found himself in Colorado Springs, CO. Dan worked for Rocky Mountain Upholstery Co. for a year in 2006. Building a relationship with the family at the shop, he chose to rejoin the team in 2017. Dan puts his time spent with family above all else. Without them, he would not be the man he is. His passion for music raises the atmosphere in the shop. He is always upbeat and continuously evokes laughter from his co-workers. He shares his valuable insight and brings great conversation to all that know him.
Dan greatly enjoys working on automotive and motorcycle upholstery. He takes pride in his top of the line custom work. Dan excels in custom auto multi-layer door panels, counsels, and sun visors. He customizes the foam, seat shaping, and design work on motorcycle seats. Specializing in anything detailed, he often chooses to work on the most challenging upholstery jobs. He is experienced in the use of many materials, including indoor/outdoor leathers and vinyls. Dan has worked on campers, boats, vehicles, drapes, curtains, and furniture of all kinds. He is well experienced in customizing hot rods and muscle cars, trucks, airplanes, and other high end vehicles.
Dan has partnered with custom home designers and decorators throughout his upholstery career. He has worked with interior designers, for things such as the Parade of Homes. Dan’s draw to upholstery work stems from his appreciation of quality craftsmanship. A master of the trade, it is his attention to detail that sets his work apart. Dan says you will be happier with your outcome if you have patience, pay attention to detail, and take your time. Dan is a huge asset to us at Rocky Mountain Upholstery Co.
